A living dark fantasy world

Not a quest checklist.
A bad decision engine.

Coven & Crown takes the energy of Diablo, LORD, and Usurper, then rebuilds it as a modern browser RPG with tactical combat, shared drama, class identity, and a world that keeps receipts.

Turn-based combat that tells you what is about to hurt.

Enemies telegraph their next intent. Attack, defend, use consumables, flee, or spend MP on class abilities. Status effects, shields, poisons, curses, siphons, and ugly surprises all resolve in a clear combat log.

Enemy intents25 levelsBoss encountersPersistent combat

Expeditions, not repetitive buttons.

Choose paths through the Blackwood, resolve strange encounters, prepare class advantages, manage rising alert, fight elites, claim loot, camp, retreat, or continue deeper because caution is for people with intact knees.

Branching pathsLoot decisionsClass checks

Five classes with actual personality.

Knights weaponize legality. Witches specialize in personal problems. Thieves reject fair fights. Necromancers treat death as staffing. Alchemists remain confident the smoke is expected.

A shared economy with teeth.

Buy gear, sell supplies, bank gold, collect interest, craft consumables, trade on the player market, and recover what remains after death has itemized your assets.

§

Your failures become public record.

Boss kills, arena victories, deaths, loot, crime, corpse recovery, and scandals can enter the city news feed. Crownfall does not forgive. It publishes.

Five paths.
None entirely respectable.

Every class has its own combat scaling, survival tools, status effects, equipment identity, and class-specific places in Crownfall.

Beyond the city walls

Crownfall has depth.
Mostly downward.

Move through a connected world of city services, hidden class districts, dangerous zones, strange encounters, dungeons, markets, graves, and people who insist the problem was already here when they arrived.

01

The Blackwood

Multi-depth expeditions, landmarks, elites, class checks, loot decisions, strange encounters, and the persistent suspicion that the trees are taking notes.

02

The Crownvault

A royal tomb, archive, dungeon, and accounting failure beneath the city. The dead clerks still believe they work here.

03

Crownfall City

Bank gold, visit the healer, buy equipment, use the market, recover corpses, enter the arena, read public news, and meet the Office of Corrections.
